9.Three Sages Hall

    Three Sages Hall is in the last tier of the main hall, in which Amitabha，Avalokitesvara and Mahayana are worshiped. On both sidewalls are the mural paintings of 20 supernatural beings.

    Hongluosi belongs to the denomination of pure land that pays attention to belief but not theory. It is the door to enlightenment in which people cultivate themselves according to a religious doctrine so that they can be reincarnated in the Western Land of Perfect Bliss.

    Amitabha Buddha

    People who believe in him and read aloud his name will be led to reincarnation in the Western Land of Perfect Bliss when they are dying.

    Bodhisattva Guanyin

    Compassion and saving all the living is his original intention. He has thirty-three images and is deliverer from 12 suffering.

    Bodhisattva Mahasthama

    He is the embodiment of wisdom. He illuminates all things with the light of wisdom so that the living creatures are out of tribulations.

    On both sidewalls of the three Sage Hall are the mural paintings of 20 supernatural beings. They are the Heavenly Kings who protect the law and temples.
